Radiovcs plays mostly oldies from different cultures with an emphasis on French, Creole, American, Hispanic and Caribbean. A Little romantic story: “What I really know About First Love” “I met Dan when I was only 12. He was my brother’s college buddy and would visit him at our house. I even memorized his phone number and car license plate number. I often I looked forward to those visits and would also run to the phone whenever it rang with the hope of hearing Dan’s voice on the begged my brother to take me with him to visit Dan on the pretext of visiting his girl cousin who lived near him. Fast-foreword three decades. I was divorced and had six children. My brother had moved away and once wondered about Dan’s where abouts. I was living in the city where we had all grown up, so I volunteered to find out. I called Dan’s parents at the number I had memorized so long ago. They told me he had just divorced and gave me his phone number and address which I shared with my brother. Soon there was a three-way correspondence-and Dan and I started dating. This time the attraction was mutual. Dan and I have been married 22 years. First love doesn’t always blow over!
